Why this is free

Every figure here is computed from filings companies are required to make public with the SEC. That source is in the public domain, so there is nothing to licence and no reason to charge for handing it back.

These files are written by the same build that writes the pages, from the same numbers, so a download cannot quietly disagree with what you read.

Reading the files

RatiosStored as fractions, not percentages. A return on equity of 11.7% is 0.117000. Multiply by 100 to display.
BlanksAn empty cell means the figure could not be computed honestly — not that it is zero. A bank has no meaningful interest cover; a company with negative equity has no meaningful return on equity.
DollarsAs filed, unscaled. No thousands, no millions.
years_agoIn history.csv, 0 is the most recent fiscal year.

Rebuilt whenever a company files. Every figure traces to an accession number on that company’s page.
